Art Is All About Interpretation.

Many people asked of me how did I get so good in drawing ? Did I received art lessons since childhood?
I won't deny the fact that I 'did' received art lessons from when I was small, but I stopped taking lessons half way when my brother got tired of it and quit. Back then, I can say that I had a total 'brother complex', always following my brother everywhere like a little duckling (hahaha).
Despite that, I still enjoyed drawing and sketching. As long as there is a pencil and a piece of paper, I am in my own world. So in the end, I was self-taught , buying art books, searching online...but most of the time I got carried away by anime and manga that I end up drawing fan art instead.
I also daydream a lot, and my mind is constantly in the dream world(well...most of the time :P) thinking about anime and manga... My parents saw that I have potential and my mother pushed me to focus on 'real' art like watercolour and sketching. Still, is not a bad thing to have an imagination once in a while, it helps to be more creative...
